SOS

Oh my god is there any techopro out there who knows how to solve my com's problem?
It friggin cannot start up and keeps showing this message:

Windows could not start up because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\system\hal.dll
Please re-install a copy of the above file.

Please call me sms me whatever if you know how to solve it!!
The last time my old harddisk screwed up I lost my whole maths pt file T.T
AND THIS TIME MY SS PT IS IN THERE.
